Akosua Viktoria Adu-Sanyah is an internationally exhibited and published German-Ghanaian visual artist and documentary photographer based in Zürich, Switzerland. Her work is frequently awarded for exploring new territories through image-making and research. Most recently, she received the Prix d’art Contemporain Robert Schuman and the Prix Photoforum for her poetic and political photographic body of work ‘Inheritance – Poems of Non-Belonging’. She equally engages in documentary work and conceptual arts, while bridging the gap from the metaverse to real-world impact with long-term bodies of work such as ‘Behold The Ocean’.
