Poet and plastic artist. In 2020 her second book “Tal vez hoy sobre mañana”, wins the international poetry award “Arcipreste de Hita” in Spain and is published by Editorial Pre-textos.
In 2015 Amalia releases her first book, “Los 16 Motivos del Lobo”, a long and violent poem published by Editorial Cardumen and illustrated by Santiago Guevara. Her texts are included in anthologies of Colombian poetry and in cultural and digital magazines.
She studied Literature at the Javeriana University in Bogotá. Amalia currently lives in her studio in Rionegro Antioquia Colombia, where she is finishing her next book and also working on fine art projects.
