I’ve got the copyright on love, honey baby,
Registered patent number such &

such. Don’t dillydally with saxifrage
& sassafras, don’t bother me with this & that,

don’t mix the salt in my vanilla. You think
a bird in the eye of the ocean of springtime

knows love? Cinnamon, I’m drowning in it.
Don’t tell me it’s cold because I’m burning

with it. I’ve got the trademark, I’ve got the copyright,
cupcake, sweet molasses, sugar pie.
