UBU HUBBUB (2022, Edition of 1)
UBU HUBBUB pays homage to Ubu Roi (the pea-brained, pot-bellied dictator, made famous by the French writer Alfred Jarry). The Dadaist collage depicts a work of phonic poetry — the score for an “imperial decree” that documents the nonsense in the tirade spoken by such an absurd tyrant.
You can listen to a rendition of this satirical, political poem by Christian Bök at Lyrikline.
Debuted at the Digital Francisco Carolinum Museum in CryptoVoxels on April 1, 2022.
